I can not remember when I bought this radio because I lost my documents somwhere
and the company where I ordered it does not have these records any more due to
a system re-configuration

This radio delivers up to 8W (it is advertised as a 10W radio but I never measured
more than 8W - yes, on VHF).

As most radios were designed to be left alone somewhere at a desk or shelf this one
has been chosen to be my so called "winlink radio" -- at least for VHF/UHF frequencies.

The special use case for it is in the car primarily -- the next RMS packet station is
approx. 27km north/north-east of my home QTH (with some mountains in between) -- it
works well with the Digirig when using packet radio and VARA-FM; and with the Mobilinkd
TNC4.
