## (Hot) outdoor food
A hot meal is sometimes needed and I haven't tested much of these -- I bought
some from [Trek'n Eat](https://www.amazon.de/s?k=trek%27n+eat).
These kind of food may not be very healthy but they fill me up.
## Cold food
My favourite food is [Speck](https://www.eataly.ca/news/speck/) and
[Brötle](https://www.gstreins-brot.at/sortiment/gstrein-s-br%C3%B6tlen/) but I'd
take anything eatable with me, really.
## Protein bars
I do have one or two of them in my backpack -- and sometimes I eat them ;-)
## Emergency food
I bought [a box of emergency food](https://www.amazon.de/dp/B0CP44T4YX) from
Sevens Oceans and still have some.
This is the most lightweight option in my opinion and absolutely fine on trips
where I want to save some weight.
## Coffee beans
I take with me what I have at home, usually -- but I only order coffee from
[kaffeezentrale.at](https://kaffeezentrale.at/). I can recommend
[Lilla e Rose](https://kaffeezentrale.at/kaffeebohnen/blasercafe-lilla-e-rose/bl01)
from Blasercafé.
I do have a titanium French Press and a hand mill -- a hot coffee is the best
thing to enjoy somewhere outside of civilisation (add some Speck and Brötle to it
and it is absolutely perfect!).
